Before and after both the lecture and the clinic, we conducted a questionnaire survey to the participants regarding what they think about sports science and work.\nThe results of the surveys indicate that the female high school students rated the item \"I want to get a job that requires specialty (such as a beautician, a doctor, a pastry chef, etc.)\" significantly lower after the lecture. Female university students gave the items “Sports science is cool.”, “Working women are cool, and I admire them.” and “Female athletes are cool, and I admire them.” a significantly high rating after the lecture. The fact that the lecturer was a woman presumably contributed to the change in their interest in sports science and attitude toward their career\nchoices.\nAlso, the results show that the junior high school students rated the item “Sports science is difficult to understand.” significantly highly after the volleyball clinic. Only showing a movie was possibly not enough to convey the content of the clinic to them. It is necessary to consider what and how we should provide in future events in the COVID-19 pandemic.\nThrough these events and the questionnaire surveys, it has been made clear that in order to foster more young female athletes who will pursue a career path in the field of sports science and become sports scientists, we need to invite a female sports scientist as a role model and continue holding events for female students where the participants can interact with the role model.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"　本研究では，女性スポーツ科学研究者増およびスポーツ科学分野をめざす女子中高大学生増への方策と課題を検討することを目的とした。方法は，鹿屋市内の女子中高生・女子大学生バレーボール部員を対象とした講演会とバレーボール教室の2
