Before and after both the lecture and the clinic, we conducted a questionnaire survey to the participants regarding what they think about sports science and work.\nThe results of the surveys indicate that the female high school students rated the item \"I want to get a job that requires specialty (such as a beautician, a doctor, a pastry chef, etc.)\" significantly lower after the lecture. Female university students gave the items “Sports science is cool.”, “Working women are cool, and I admire them.” and “Female athletes are cool, and I admire them.” a significantly high rating after the lecture. The fact that the lecturer was a woman presumably contributed to the change in their interest in sports science and attitude toward their career\nchoices.\nAlso, the results show that the junior high school students rated the item “Sports science is difficult to understand.” significantly highly after the volleyball clinic. Only showing a movie was possibly not enough to convey the content of the clinic to them. It is necessary to consider what and how we should provide in future events in the COVID-19 pandemic.\nThrough these events and the questionnaire surveys, it has been made clear that in order to foster more young female athletes who will pursue a career path in the field of sports science and become sports scientists, we need to invite a female sports scientist as a role model and continue "　本研究では，女性スポーツ科学研究者増およびスポーツ科学分野をめざす女子中高大学生増への方策と課題を検討することを目的とした。方法は，鹿屋市内の女子中高生・女子大学生バレーボール部員を対象とした講演会とバレーボール教室の2 つのイベントを実施し，イベントの前後で，参加者にスポーツ科学や働くことに関するアンケート調査を実施した。その結果，イベント①の講演会「スポ女集まれ！鹿屋体大サミット」では，女子高校生は，「専門職に就きたい（美容師，医者，パティシエ等）」において，講演会後が講演会前に比べて有意に低値を示した。女子大学生は「スポーツ科学はかっこいい」「働く女性はかっこいい・あこがれる」「女性アスリートはかっこいい・あこがれる」において，講演会後が有意に高値を示した。講師を女性が務めたことが，スポーツ科学への興味・関心や進路選択に関する意識の変化に影響を及ぼしたことが考えられた。イベント②のバレーボール教室では，中学生は，「スポーツ科学はよくわからない」において教室後が有意に高値を示したことから，動画視聴のみでは中学生にうまく伝わらなかった可能性が考えられ，コロナ禍における実施方法や実施内容を十分に検討して工夫する必要性が，今後の課題となった。\n　「スポ女」育成を発展させ，スポーツ科学研究者やスポーツ科学分野へ進学する女性を増やすためには，スポーツ科学分野で活躍する女性をロールモデルとして起用し，女子中高大学生と交流するイベントを今後も継続して実施していくことが必要である。",
